Robin & Berry’s wedding ~ 12.5.09 ~ Murfreesboro, TN

January 7, 2010

Robin and I met as co-workers at Arzelle’s years ago and she remains one of my closest girlfriends. So when Berry proposed, as we would say, IT WAS ON! The wedding and reception was held at Embassy Suites Hotel & Conference Center in Murfreesboro, TN. The staff and coordinators there were superb. I was soooo envying Robin’s accessories–she had fabulous jewelry and oh! those! shoes! Her sister, Trish gifted her with a handmade veil from a recent trip to Spain. Such a beautiful bride!

Robin’s gown was designed by Mikaella Bridal from Arzelle’s Brides & Formals

Her silk shoes (which I L.O.V.E.!) were by Yvette by Grace Footwear from Arzelle’s Brides & Formals

Most of Robin’s fabulous jewelry came from White House/Black Market

It was a “ROLL TIDE!” day! And the wedding began right during game time.

I love this shot of Joellen, Robin and Trish having a laugh.

The reception was festively decorated in red, plum, green and ivory.

Berry appropriately welcomed his new family by serenading them with “Play that Funky Music, White Boy.” Classic!

And the grandparents dancing… *sigh!*

“Hey Robin! You remember that time that you and Berry got married? Those were some GOOD TIMES!” =0)

Love you both!!!

Jessica & Matt ~ 11.7.09

November 24, 2009

Lucky for Jessica & Matt (and me!), they chose the warmest day of fall to promise forever. They were married at Good Springs Free Will Baptist Church in Pleasant View, TN. We took advantage of the bright blue skies and autumn colored leaves by shooting some photos in the nearby field. Jessica’s warm color choices of chocolate, orange, and yellow accented the entire reception. My favorite moment was when Jessica’s sister cried as she gave her sis a goodbye hug. *sniff sniff* I may have shed a tear or two myself!

Check out Jessica’s bridal portrait session here.

Julie & Seth ~ Nashville, TN wedding ~ 10.17.09

November 10, 2009

Julie & Seth are just the cutest little couple, and they had a fun wedding party that kept me on my toes all night! They were married at Monroe Street United Methodist Church in the Germantown area of Nashville, with the reception at the Sheraton Music City Hotel. Although it was a chilly day, we took all of the group and family photos outside in front of the gorgeous arches of the church before heading down the street with the wedding party to a colorful wall mural of the Nashville skyline. Good times continued at the reception as guests took over the dance floor to reenact the knife fight scene to MJ’s “Beat It.” Hilarious!

Flowers: Flower Express
DJ: Nashville Party Authority
Cake: Sweet ‘N Sassy Bakery

Loni & Brandon ~ Hendersonville, TN wedding ~ 10.10.09

October 19, 2009

Brrr! It was the first super chilly day of fall as Loni & Brandon tied the knot in Hendersonville. We planned to shoot the wedding party photos after the reception at a nearby park…only to find a huge fall festival going on. Luckily there was another nice spot not far away, so everyone braved the chillbumps after an interesting ride in an H2 limo. *Note: H2 limos don’t really fit on a truck-and-boat lined road.*

Thanks for hanging out in the cold, ya’ll!

Jill & Mark ~ Hot Springs, NC wedding ~ 9.19.09

October 19, 2009

Jill & Mark were married at Fairview Methodist Church in Hot Springs, NC, amidst a beautiful mountain setting. After an abundance of, “Lord, please let it stop raining for a few hours” prayers, the sunshine popped out just long enough for the entire wedding and reception…and then the bottom dropped out! (Thanks for listening Big Man!)

Jill described herself as an “older, first-time bride,” but she was as nervous and giddy as a schoolgirl as she dressed and primped for her groom. It was adorable to watch and the ladies kept me smiling all afternoon. Mark was the most precious, attentive guy as he blotted Jill’s forehead and carried her train. Who said chivalry was dead?

Here are some memories from their big day.

Michelle & Tim’s wedding ~ Nashville, TN ~ 8.29.09

September 23, 2009

Details, details, details! I love the little details! Michelle & Tim worked with Jennifer Milam of Reveal Event Style to create a posh setting for the wedding and reception at the home of Michelle’s parents in Green Hills. The weather was perfect and we took advantage of the beautiful sunshine poking through the shade trees on the property. These two were a pleasure to work with!

The customized fans were adorable!

Love this shot of Michelle’s mom and her grandma!

Mr. Ross’s living room was turned into a ballroom! And what a beautiful cake by Dulce Desserts.

No detail was left unattended. The lanterns and chandeliers were gorgeous!

Michelle’s mom was the life of the party! I love this shot of her dancing with her daughter and dad cheering them on in the background. Sweet!

Thanks M + T!
