Melissa & Daniel ~ 6.5.09 ~ Carriage Lane Inn ~ Murfreesboro, TN

July 21, 2009

Everything is bigger in Texas, including love! Melissa & Daniel celebrated their wedding day at Carriage Lane Inn in Murfreesboro, TN, but they brought their TX spirit with them in the form of a Longhorn grooms cake and lots of family from the Lone Star state. The weather cooled down to perfection which is a Godsend in June! Here are a few shots from their big day…

Shannon’s maternity session 6.22.09

July 16, 2009

Shannon and I have been friends since high school, when she used to drive me to class almost every sleepy morning. Back when her world was Ryne Sandberg & Mark Grace, and mine was NKOTB. We have both been trying to get pregnant for years, and with lots of prayer and fabulous doctors, she has finally succeeded! So we did an indoor session (since it was in the 90’s that day and too hot for a very pregnant lady) with her hubby Jason and step-daughter Caitlin.

I’m so excited to see Baby Jayke and watch him grow knowing how much we all prayed for him!!

Abi & Joe ~ 6.6.09 ~ Elizabethtown, KY

July 16, 2009

OK, so Abi wins the award for best wedding hair EVER. And she gets double points for having such a talented father as her hair stylist (check out Jme & Co. Salon in Elizabethtown!). Can I throw in triple points for that gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown?

Miss Abi and Mr. Joe were married in the garden at the historic Brown-Pusey House with their reception at the equally historic State Theatre. The attention to detail in the decor was awesome–I wish I had room to showcase every linen, runner, and centerpiece!

Once again, there were just too many shots that I loved, so here ya go…

Rachelle & Daniel’s wedding ~ 6.12.09 ~ Riverwood Mansion ~ Nashville, TN

July 15, 2009

Seems like forever since I’ve blogged!

Hubby and I have spent the last few weeks visiting friends in New Zealand and attending the Hillsong Conference in Sydney, Australia. I’ll be sure to post photos from the trip later. Now back to catching up with weddings!

This wedding was one of a kind! From the “dowry” of plastic animals and Hot Wheels cars paid to Rachelle’s father from Daniel’s dad and their Papua New Guinea tribe to the edible chocolate cake stand, to the vintage Jaguar, everything about their big day at Riverwood Mansion was fun and unique. And these two could not be more perfect for each other–so in love! It’s precious to watch. And it’s why I LOVE MY JOB! =0)
