Morgan & Michael ~ Washington, D.C. ~ Engagement Photos

Morgan and Michael will be married in Nashville next year, but we shot their engagement session in D.C. where they live. It was a beautiful day with bright blue skies and warm sunshine all along the National Mall. Three amazing things happened:

1. I saw a solid black squirrel. A first for me.
2. I saw a sold white squirrel. Another first.
3. I had dinner at Nando’s! A first in the states. I got hooked on Nando’s while in South Africa, and sought it out while in London, Sydney, and Auckland. It’s about time the U.S. caught on.

OK, four amazing things.
4. I met M+M. And they rock. =0)

Julie & Seth’s Engagement Session ~ Downtown Nashville ~ 8.22.09

I really enjoyed my time with Julie & Seth! Seth brought along his guitar for a little serenade on the hill by LP Field. **sweet!!** He and Miss Julie will be married in October and I can’t wait to shoot the wedding. Here are some shots from our windy, but fun session:

Loni & Brandon ~ Nashville engagement photos

I can spot a fellow dancer or someone who has been in front of the camera from a mile away, so I knew this would be fun! With tons of modeling experience, Loni was easy to photograph. She knows how to be expressive and work the camera. Brandon claimed he was nervous, but it didn’t show at all! (You did fabulous, B!)
We hit downtown Nashville and check out the sunset…wow!

I met Loni when she was a bridesmaid in Adam & Angela’s wedding last year. We all had a blast that day, just as I’m sure we will for her big day in October. Can’t wait guys!

Robyn & Jon ~ Engagement Session

Jon, a.k.a Schwarzie, and Robyn will be wed in St. Louis this August and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding! We got together for engagement photos just as the sun was setting in Franklin, TN.

Mary Beth & Adam’s Engagement Session ~ Downtown Knoxville

Mary Beth, Adam and I got to romp around downtown Knoxville for their engagement session. We hit up the Old City, Gay Street and the World’s Fair Park before heading to Market Square for dinner—and everything was CLOSED! Ugh! Gotta get used to a town that shuts down at sunset…
We had a great time with lots of laughs and nice weather though. And afterwards, we stuffed our bellies full of burgers and fries, yum!




I totally stole the “No Kissing Zone” idea from Mike @ Myrick Studios. Gotta give him props.
