Rachelle claimed she didn’t want anything “too pretty.” But with that 1,000 watt smile, who couldn’t capture pretty? Especially at Riverwood Mansion.
Her mom, LeeAnn, and 2 younger sisters drove up from Austin to help her get ready–I couldn’t help but think how they reminded me of a sweet version of the Kardashians! What a fun family!

I had not met Ally & Jeremy prior to their wedding day, so I only hoped our personalities jived with each other. Turns out that these are two of the most laid back, groovy people ever, and their big day went along just as calm. I enjoyed braving the heat with them at Ridge Valley Farms. And just after they were pronounced husband and wife, they gave each other a big high five! =)

You know, it’s good to have friends. It’s great to have a friend who is also your assistant. It’s AMAZING to have an assistant who’s friends are getting married in Jamaica and like my work!
Dana & Grant flew Leah and I down to Montego Bay to capture their wedding week at the Tryall Club Resort. I highly recommend it for anyone considering a destination wedding. The staff was wonderful. Everything was, “No problem mon!” I can’t express how much fun they are and how many new friends we made! This will be a long post with lots of images, because I just couldn’t choose a few.

I’ve been impatiently waiting months to see Mary Beth and Adam tie the knot! They were married at a private residence in Oak Ridge, just outside of Knoxville. A few weeks before, we shot Mary Beth’s bridal portraits. Now that Adam has seen his beloved in her gown, I can post those too! Here is a small glimpse of their beautiful day.

It’s just precious to see to two young people so much in love! Miss Alli and Mr. Matt were married May 16th at Salem Baptist Church in Halls. Their reception was held at Holston Hills Country Club. We got some fun outdoor shots on the golf course just before a storm hit, but the rain didn’t dampen the spirits of their guests. Everyone had a great time and danced all night!

Jon, a.k.a Schwarzie, and Robyn will be wed in St. Louis this August and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding! We got together for engagement photos just as the sun was setting in Franklin, TN.

Jennifer & Bud were married May 9th at The Baber House at Kennesaw Farms in Gallatin. After sketchy weather, the afternoon sun emerged and we had beautiful weather for their outdoor wedding and reception. Josh D’Aubin kept the dance floor pumpin’ as the awesome DJ. Jen & Bud are such a fun couple–thanks for letting me be a part of it all, ya’ll!

Ahhh to be young again! Shayna & Cody are graduating seniors at Carter High School. Before prom, we got together for a photo session to ensure the dress, the tux, and those gorgeous diamond earrings were captured beautifully–and I promised–NO CHEESY PROM POSING!
I wanted to photograph her getting gorgeous so I followed as Shayna’s beauty team got to work. We started with hair at Ema Lisa’s by Lisa Mitchell and makeup by the fabulous Candle Adkins from Spa 9700.

Then it’s my turn to fulfill my promise! Downtown we go…no park-like setting for these two. They like to hang in Market Square & The Old City…
And my favorite… Class of 2009? DONE!
Today, my 5 year old nephew, Bryson, got married. Yes, that’s right. I had the privilege of attending the beautiful union as Mr. Q and Ms. U joined together in holy alphabetrimony, forever linking Q with U in spelling bliss!
